Danceworks Gets Ready to Reopen

After a very challenging year, we are delighted to be reopening Danceworks to the public on May 17th.  Although it will initially be under Covid-measures (reduced class sizes, social distancing etc) we will have a wonderful timetable of dance classes of every style and for all ages and levels, plus Pilates and fitness.
In the meantime, we have a wonderful series of livestreamed online Saturday Masterclasses taught by stars of the dance world, but available to everyone to participate from home. (Please check our website for more information and to book a place).
Danceworks is the arts hub of Mayfair and for nearly 40 years, we have offered group and individual classes taught by our incredible professional dancers/teachers in our 7 beautiful studios located in Balderton Street opposite Selfridges. Our team are knowledgeable, very friendly and offer a warm welcome to all newcomers.

We are passionate about the benefits of dance and now more than ever we need ways to release tension both mentally and physically. Dance has been scientifically proven over and again to provide far more benefit than other forms of exercise. It engages body, mind and lifts the spirit. Dance gives the enjoyment and satisfaction of learning a new skill or taking an existing one to a new level.
You are never too young or old to dance – from Baby Ballet to Strictly silvers!
Government rules allow us to reopen our Baby and Reception Ballet classes next week taught by Julie Altree, our wonderful Director of Pre-School Ballet.
From mid-May we will also again be able to offer our brilliant 8-week Absolute Beginner Ballet Courses and our customised Intensive Mentored Courses, as well as dance events with world-renowned stars.
And in the autumn we look forward to welcoming back to London the award winning dance photographer Jordan Matter (New York Times best-selling books, 1.8m followers on Instagram, 6m You Tube subscribers and over a billion views) who will be teaching courses from our studios and photographing beautiful dancers around the streets of Mayfair.
