Q&A with Ewa

What does it mean to you to be chosen as one of the Women that Make Mayfair?

It is an absolute honour to be recognised in this way. I am extremely passionate about my job and the opportunities it gives me to help the local community with their wellbeing and I enjoy encouraging customers to integrate holistic approaches to their health. I would also like to take an opportunity to thank the amazing women who are part of my team here at Nelsons Pharmacy.

How long have you been working in Mayfair?

I started my career in Nelsons Homeopathic Pharmacy in August 2017. I’m very excited to be working in one of Mayfair’s oldest establishments continuing to offer natural healthcare products since 1860.

What is your favourite spot in Mayfair?

I have many favourite spots in Mayfair, I am struggling to choose just one. In the summer I really enjoy Grosvenor square and Brown Hart Gardens, where I would go and have my lunch.  Especially when I can listen to the live performances or watch Wimbledon. I also appreciate the variety of high-quality restaurants and bars. My particular favourite is Mercato Metropolitano for its vast food choices and beautiful interior and architecture.

What is one of your proudest moments from your current role?

The obvious proud moment was accepting an award on behalf of Nelsons Homeopathic Pharmacy in the “Only in Mayfair category” (Mayfair Awards 2019) and personal proud moments are felt every time a customer’s wellbeing benefits from the advice and carefully selected range of natural products available here at Nelsons pharmacy.

What is something great about Mayfair which everyone should know?

What I love about Mayfair is that it has a number of hidden gems such as Higgins Coffee, 3rd generation family business specialists supplier of fine coffees and teas, maintaining strong community ethos (they even ground my coffee beans that I brought from Mexico!).  It is probably the most fashionable residential district in London, that has lots to offer from the amazing restaurants, to lovely art galleries and elegant Hotels. There is also a close-knit community who engage in many initiatives to enhance the area and connect the residents such as the Urban Wood for Grosvenor Residents project. I am so happy to be a part of such a fantastic and exciting area of London.
