Have your say on Redesigning Grosvenor Square

In February 2020, Tonkin Liu were appointed as the lead designer for Grosvenor Square. They were selected as the winners of a formal design competition which included many of the worlds leading landscape and design teams. Their focus on connecting people back to nature, collective storytelling and community involvement were key factors in their success.

We are listening to how people would like to be involved, and over the next year will offer a range of opportunities for people to be involved in ways and at times that suit them so that they can understand and influence the new designs for Grosvenor Square.

We want to maximise the potential this square has to contribute to a   new ecosystem in a way that shows what is possible with our public   spaces in the 21st century.

Together with our neighbours and other London communities, we will  embrace contrasting perspectives and create a space that has  something to offer everyone. We will bring together the best knowledge to create a new kind of urban square that encourages discovery and fosters wellbeing.

We are exploring ideas, both big and small, for the square so please tell us your priorities in this short survey.

We are now half-way through our digital events programme for the Redesign of Grosvenor Square which has featured some fantastic speakers and attracted c 300 participants. The final events in this phase are now concluding but you can check out what is still to come and watch recordings of the events that have already taken place here.

Alongside our Big topic talks you can find our discovery packs, full of fun activities available to download for our younger audience and your inner child.
