Dominique Ansel Bakery home of the cronut is generously offering a free hot drink of tea or coffee to key workers as a token of appreciation and support in this time. They are also engaging in the #FeedTheNHS campaign, completing local hospital drops and ask that you reach out to them via their Instagram channel, is you are a local NHS, police or emergency services worker.

The Light Centre


Unlimited classes for NHS workers

At a time where key NHS workers are being asked to work tirelessly under exceptional circumstances. The Light Centre is now hosting online pilates, yoga, meditation and mindfulness classes and is offering unlimited free classes to NHS workers to help take care of their mental and physical wellbeing at a time when there is a particular strain on healthcare workers and emphasis on caring for the nation during this crisis.

If you are an NHS worker, or if you know of any NHS workers that would like to make use of the free classes do pass the message on. Sign up to the offer by emailing support@lightcentre.com and the Light Centre will request proof that you work in the NHS.

Barry’s Bootcamp


On Sunday 29 March, though the London Marathon was cancelled, Barry’s Bootcamp took the opportunity to host their very own Barrython a twelve hour virtual workout which took place from 8am to 8pm with 24 live classes and 25 trainers hosting half hour intensive sessions for their dedicated Barry’s community.

The Barrython was created to raise money for NHS charities, those who took part in the Barrython experience were asked to donate a little or a lot to help the NHS. The event was an incredible success and has raised a whopping £35,693.07 over three times their target.

An absolutely incredible feat, a real testament to the the Barry’s community.

The Jones Family Kitchen


For anyone dreaming about their next meal out after social distancing is no more, invest in your next meal now and see that money go to charity. Muse by Tom Aikens

Tom Aikens, Michelin star chef and owner of Muse in Belgravia has launched a 5 minute cookery challenge, raising awareness and funds for #hospitalityagainsthomelessness. The aim is to cook food in 5 mnutes, donate £5 to charity Only a pavement away and to then nominate a further 5 people to participate in the challenge.

Jamb 

The Antique fireplace brand based on Pimlico Road held a one week auction in aid of the charity Shelter. Jamb selected 10 mantles to be auctioned off for the charity, which helps people who are struggling with bad housing and homelessness. All proceeds from the auction were donated to the charity, which raised £7k.
