There are many ways to help out local businesses and independent brands during this time, and for the month of August (great news for foodies) tucking into a delicious meal at a top restaurant is one of the ways you can help.

The Government’s newly launched Eat Out to Help Out initiative will run Monday to Wednesday throughout the month of August where selected restaurants, cafes and eateries will be offering their cuisines at half price. The scheme will cover 50% the cost of a meal, up to £10 per person. It can be redeemed as many times as you like and a handy app has been created to help you find places to eat in your area.

Across Mayfair and Belgravia a number of restaurants and cafes are taking part in the scheme to welcome customers far and wide back. With a plethora of cuisines to suit every occasion and budget and in some of the most beautiful and iconic locations in London, it is the perfect opportunity to support businesses and expand your palette.

You could enjoy Scott’s, world famous seafood favourite of the stars, Deliciously Ella for mood-boosting sweet and savoury dishes, Dominique Ansel Bakery, for one of its infamous cronuts, Morena, for all day dining inspired by South America or 34 Mayfair for exquisite British cuisine.

Embrace the London staycation and find a full list of participating restaurants in the area here offering the atmospheres and flavours of Europe. Download the app or visit the Eat Out to Help Out website to search via postcode.
