Pepa & Co. is responsible for singlehandedly bringing high quality chic to children’s clothing.  After settling in London over ten years ago and working as a nanny for international families, Pepa set up Pepa & Co. in Elizabeth Street, Belgravia, growing its reputation so that it is now a highly respected worldwide brand known for its beautifully designed collections spanning the age range from new-born babies to children of ten years old.   She keeps it practical and timeless with clothes that children really want to wear. The stylish collections are made in Spain using the highest quality materials and each item is produced ethically.

Tell us a brief history of your brand – how it all began, what you do and your plans for the future.

I wanted to bring back classic and quality clothes to a new generation of children. From my years working as a nanny, I spotted a gap in the market for high-quality children’s clothing with a traditional and smart design. My clothing focuses around British heritage but I also take inspiration from my Spanish family.

How long have you been based in Belgravia?

Pepa & Co. has been based on Elizabeth Street in Belgravia since November 2018 after having several pop up stores in various spots around South West London.

What is your favourite memory/anecdote in/about Belgravia?

I love when the Chelsea Flower Show is on and all the stores in Belgravia take part in Belgravia in Bloom. It’s our favourite time of year at Pepa & Co. with all the stores doing flower displays, including ourselves.

What is your commute to Belgravia?

We live in South West London, so Belgravia is the perfect spot for the business. Sometimes we get the train to Victoria or other times we cycle.

What is it that makes Belgravia so unique?

Belgravia is in the heart of London but manages to maintain the feel of community. With our designs being so focused on traditional British clothing, I was so pleased to be in the heart of such a quintessentially British area.
