Mercato Mayfair Searches for the Next Generation of Culinary Talent

Mercato Metropolitano, a sustainable community market who opened Mercato Mayfair in the regenerated Grade 1 listed church on North Audley Street last year, is accepting applications for their business incubation programme DreaMM - open to people, businesses and community initiatives.

DreaMM aims to support food and non-food entrepreneurs and incubate businesses to break down barriers and build a thriving economy. If you have an innovative idea you want to pilot, or a new sustainability concept to be tested, or a groundbreaking entertainment offering - APPLICATIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED!

Selected applicants will have access to tailored mentorship from the MM TeaMM, a chance to spend three months in MM’s incubation shack, and financial support packages to kickstart their idea. For further details and the application process, please visit: https://bit.ly/2ys3sP7

You can also learn more about their programme through a Q&A published on their Twitter feed here and see some success stories from previous applicants to their incubator programme here

You can try dishes from around the world at Mercato Mayfair, but while some parts of the food hall are temporarily closed there are a number of great foodie offers available to order online or collect. Including veg boxes from River Ford, in-house bakery making fresh baked goods and ‘make your own cannoli’ kits from Little Sicily. In keeping with Mercato Metropolitano’s mission, ingredients are fresh, artisanal and sustainably sourced as far as possible.
