For authentic Levantine flavours, head to Nader Bou Antoun and Jean Paul Bou Antoun’s Belgravian restaurant, where flavoursome Lebanese cuisine meets sleek, contemporary decor. If you’re after a taste of Beirut, the mixed grill contains lamb kafta (minced lamb with parsley and onion), shish taouk (marinated chicken breast cubes), and lahm meshwi (marinated cubes of lamb fillet) accompanied with a smooth garlic sauce. Order some hummus, baba ghannouj or tabouli salad on the side and dip to your heart’s content!
Indulge in the earthy flavours of Spain's Basque region at Ametsa with Arzak Instruction, COMO The Halkin’s Michelin-starred restaurant. The restaurant is the brainchild of the Arzak family – famed for their eponymous three Michelin-starred restaurant in San Sebastian. Choose from the à la carte menu or, for the ultimate Ametsa experience, opt for the tasting menu, which offers a range of iconic ‘New Basque Cuisine’ dishes with wines specially paired by Ametsa’s sommelier.
For contemporary French fare, head to Gordon’s Ramsay’s Pétrus in Knightsbridge. Developed by Executive Chef Mark Askew and Head Chef Sean Burbidge, its delectable menu puts a modern spin on French classics and offers the choice of more than 2,000 bottles of wine. We recommend the Dorset crab with avocado, pink grapefruit and coriander from the à la carte menu to start, followed by the rack of herb-crusted Herdwick lamb. If the dessert menu leaves you spoilt for choice, finish with the coconut, dark chocolate and lime parfait.
