A new take on window shopping

Window shopping is usually a leisure activity; a feast for the eyes and perhaps some outfit inspiration but doesn’t always translate to purchases. A new retail disrupter, Lone Design Club (LDC), is at the forefront of the evolution of the high street with a new innovation in retail: the ‘shoppable’ window.

This brand new shopping experience is coming to South Molton, just moments from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Circus. LDC bring impactful, engaging window displays to browse whilst social distancing and providing a fully interactive experience with QR codes shoppers can scan directly from the store front. This ‘phygital’ experience (a modern marriage of digital and physical) incorporates live streams, an online market place, mobile self‐checkout and product information and QR codes connecting the physical to the digital. In the current climate, this offering is of particular value to independent brands which are an integral part of the unique shopping experiences to be found in Mayfair and Belgravia. While social distancing is still in place, LDC offer customers a place to come and see, touch and feel products before purchasing.

Aside from being able to peruse a curated collection of the best independent designers across the fashion, beauty and lifestyle sectors, customers will also be able to sign up to events and activities including 1-to-1 personal shopping experiences, workshops, beauty events and tutorials.

The Lone Design Club currently has a number of independent brands on its website including womenswear labels Georgina Hardinge, Judy Wu, Birdsong, and Sabinna, and jewellery brands Pyla, Amadeus, and Tiana Jewel.
